It's Betty's Birthday Today!

All great things come to an end  (at least temporary) and Ellen's show isn't an exception. In 9 days (7 episodes) season 6 will end for the 3 month summer break but make sure to keep checking out EDF (EllenDegeneresFan.com) to get your daily dose of Ellen.

According to TMZ.com Ellen will announce this on her show to air today.

Update 2: With the new court ruling that will allow same sex marriage Ellen and Portia could get married at the earliest in about a month but there has been no details about when they plan to get tie the knot.

A few details about Ellen 50th B-day party from Saturday (her birthday was actually in January), have been released and here's most of them

Pink perfomed three songs There was a fireworks display The menu included sushi from Sushi Roku, Pinkberry, Fry Girl doughnuts, red velvet cupcakes, and a dim sum buffet. The theme was a carnival and casino There was 10-ft. elephant topiaries, a Ferris wheel, bumper cars, carousel, dunk tank and stilt-walkers. And the bash was held at Warner Bros. studio which is where Ellen will be filming her show starting next season. I've uploaded a couple of photos from the event.

Highlights from the event will be shown on Ellen's show this Friday.
