I haven't been able to find the commercial yet but according to a press release a new American Express commerical and print advertisments with Ellen will start airing this week. Here's a quote from the ads

“People think because I’m a talk show host I can get into any show or event or cheese tasting I want to,” said Ellen DeGeneres. “And they’re right, but it’s not because I’m a talk show host, it’s because I’m an American Express®” Cardmember.

I just found this video on youtube and Ellen is working as a gas attendant.

Chris Bryant, the car jumper that was on Ellen, has used his fame to give grocerys and gift cards to needy families from his home town area.

Jack Davis, the 11 year old boy who was on Ellen, has succeded at getting a new law passed so that resturants can donate their un-used food without fear of being sued.
