Ellen was nominated for VH1 "Top 20 celebs gone good" and voting was up to the public. Voting is now closed but I've gotten emails from a source that says Ellen was voted as one of the top 20. I don't know what position she recieved but my source has confirmed that she did get into the top 20.
The show will air on next Thursday (11/19/09) on VH1.

However, in the advertisement where Ellen comments "you can laugh at people who put their children on leases", I really do take offense.When my children were very small, I would once a week walk downtown in Council Bluffs, Iowa. I had the baby in the baby carriage and my 4 yr old helping me push it. I also had a 3 yr old and a 2 yr old - who I had on body harness "and leases". I got several comments as I went along "she treats them like dogs". However, those two little boys didn't run out into traffic and get hurt!!!!!!!! I neglected to say I was also pregnant at the time with my 5th child. Just had to air my feelings - really don't think she should make such an assumption.
